Having a party? You’ll need to make these for all your wine-drinking guests! These fun and simple “slippers” for your wine glasses do double duty -- they not only serve as coasters and but also as charms to help your guests keep track of their glass. They also make great gifts - whip up a set of four and you’ve got a great hostess gift or housewarming present!
Difficulty: Beginner
Recommended fabrics: Quilting cotton or other light to medium weight woven fabrics.
Material Requirements: (to make one slipper)
• Main Fabric: (1) fat quarter
• Lining Fabric: (1) Fat Quarter
• Fusible Fleece (such as Pellon 987F): (1) 6” x 6” square
• Note: You can make several slippers from the two fat quarters (main and lining)
Tools Needed:
• Rotary cutter, cutting mat & ruler or fabric scissors
• Pins and/or clips
• Point turner
