You'll learn techniques for sewing curves, stuffing, attaching closures, and creating a polished finish while making a project that's as practical as it is charming.

Finished Size: Turtle measures approximately 7" long

Skill Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate. This class is perfect for confident beginners who have completed our Sewing 101 or have comparable machine experience. Students should be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine on their own.

• ¼ yard – Shell & outer thread catcher
• ¼ yard – Turtle body & thread catcher lining

Additional Supplies

• ¼ yard Mid-weight fusible interfacing
• 1" × 2" piece of black felt (for the eyes)
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Weighted pellets, a small rock, or sand (to add weight)
• 1" button
• Coordinating thread

• Sea Turtle: 7" long
• Thread Catcher: 4" × 5"
