Let’s sew a skirt you’ll want to wear all summer long!

In this 3-day workshop, you’ll create the Brumby Skirt by Megan Nielsen, a stylish gathered skirt featuring deep scoop pockets, a flattering contoured waistband that sits at the natural waist, and an exposed zipper detail. This class is perfect for confident beginners and beyond who are ready to grow their garment sewing skills.

You’ll have the option to choose your preferred version:
• Version 1: Above-the-knee length with pockets
• Version 2: Midi length with pockets and added fullness
• Version 3: Classic knee-length gathered skirt

Throughout the class, you’ll learn essential garment sewing techniques including inserting an exposed zipper, constructing a contoured waistband, gathering fabric, and sewing functional pockets, all while building confidence in reading and following a pattern.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your class, please let us know by email at least 72 hours in advance. If we’re able to fill your spot from our waitlist, we’ll issue you a full refund.

 If we’re not able to fill your spot, or if you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, we’ll issue you a credit that can be used toward a future class.
