The Pumpkin Patch
Get ready to mix your crafting skills in this fun fall sewing project! You’ll combine a little machine stitching, a touch of hand sewing, and some glue-gun finishing to create charming fabric pumpkins that are perfect for decorating your home. In this class, we will make pumpkins in three sizes—small, medium, and large—so you can create a whole patch for a festive seasonal display.
Finished Sizes:

Large: 7” (17.78 cm) diameter x 4” (10.16 cm) tall

Medium: 5” (12.7 cm) diameter x 3” (7.62 cm) tall

Small: 4” (10.16 cm) diameter x 2-1/2” (6.35 cm) tall

All pattern pieces are provided.
Required Materials:
(1) The Pumpkin Patch Pattern by Studio M Squared
Medium Pumpkin/Large Pumpkin: (1) fat quarter
Notions Needed:
• (1) spool of decorative thread
• Approximately 1/2 cup of uncooked rice
• Polyfil stuffing
• 3 yards (2.7m) jute twine
Stem material:
- Large pumpkin: 3/4” (19mm) diameter wood dowel, 2” (5.08cm) long (or a wine cork)
- Medium pumpkin: 3/8” (9.5mm) diameter wood dowel, 1-1/4” (3.2cm) long
- Small pumpkin: 5/16” (8mm) diameter wood dowel, 1-1/4” (3.2cm) long
• (1) spool of thread
Tools To Bring:
- fabric scissors
- rotary cutter + acrylic ruler
- seam ripper
- pins and/or wonder clips
- chalk or frixion pen

If we’re not able to fill your spot, or if you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, we’ll issue you a credit that can be used toward a future class.
