Looking for the perfect pillow to match your decor? Why not make one yourself! In this fun and hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create your own custom piping and install an invisible zipper—skills that will take your sewing to the next level. Before you know it, you'll be inspired to update pillows all over your home! This class is great for advanced beginners who are comfortable using a sewing machine on their own.

Required Materials:

- (1) Pattern: The Essential Pillow by Studio M Squared
- pillow body fabric: 5/8 yd of medium-weight fabric such as quilting cotton, canvas or linen. 
- piping fabric: 1/8 yd of quilting cotton
- 2-1/2 yds of 1/8" cording 
- (1) 22" invisible zipper
- (2) spools of thread - one to coordinate with piping fabric and one to coordinate with pillow fabric
-(1) 18" pillow insert (purchase in store!)


Required Tools:
- point turner
- rotary cutter + cutting mat
- or acrylic ruler + fabric scissors
- pins and/or wonder clips- fabric glue pen

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your class, please let us know by email at least 72 hours in advance. If we’re able to fill your spot from our waitlist, we’ll issue you a full refund.

If we’re not able to fill your spot, or if you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, we’ll issue you a credit that can be used toward a future class.
