In this fun and festive class, you'll learn the techniques for creating the unique fringed tree design while sewing both the small and large pillows. Choose your favorite Christmas prints, plaids, or winter-inspired fabrics to create a coordinated set that's perfect for decorating your home or giving as thoughtful handmade gifts.
Finished Sizes:
- Small Pillow: 17" × 17"
- Large Pillow: 22" × 22"
Skill Level: Beginner - This class is perfect for confident beginners who have completed our Sewing 101 or have comparable machine experience. Students should be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine on their own.

Required Materials: (makes 2 pillows)
- (1) Pattern: Fringed + Festive Trees by Studio M Squared - will be available for purchase soon!
- Pillow front fabric: 2/3 yd
- Pillow back fabric: 2/3 yd
- (1) Polyfil stuffing
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
Recommended Fabrics:
Flannel, quilting cotton, yarn-dyed linens, or other woven fabrics that fray
Required Tools:
- fabric scissors
- pinking shears (optional)
- seam ripper or seam ripper
- pins or clips
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your class, please let us know by email at least 72 hours in advance. If we’re able to fill your spot from our waitlist, we’ll issue you a full refund.
If we’re not able to fill your spot, or if you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, we’ll issue you a credit that can be used toward a future class.
Please note that we’re unable to offer refunds or credits for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class. By signing up, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
